Learn how to revise your poems with care, clarity, and intention.


Editing as an Act of Love is an in-depth poetry workshop designed to help poets approach revision not as criticism, but as care. This session reframes editing as a creative, respectful process. One that strengthens a poem’s voice rather than stripping it away.


Participants will learn practical strategies for redrafting poetry, including tightening language, clarifying imagery, refining structure, and recognising what a poem is trying to become. Through guided exercises and example poems, you’ll develop tools to edit with confidence while preserving emotional truth and originality.


This workshop is ideal for poets who write frequently but struggle to finish work, as well as those who find editing overwhelming or discouraging. No prior editing experience is required, the focus is on thoughtful revision, not perfection.
